Cineworld aims to be the best place to watch a movie, offering an unparalleled cinema experience in the UK & Ireland, with 100 cinemas and over 1,017 screens. Cineworld Group was founded in 1995 and is currently the second largest cinema chain in the world following the acquisition of US cinema group Regal Entertainment Group in February 2018. We are now looking for a Local Marketing Manager to join our marketing team based at our head office in Brentford.

Our Brentford offices are accessible from Gunnersbury tube station on the District Line and Overground or via a short walk from Kew Bridge mainline station. Reporting into the Head of Marketing our Local Marketing Manager will manage the Local Marketing strategy and activities, with through the line marketing campaigns to drive admissions, increase market share and revenue.

Local Marketing Manager - Key Responsibilities

- Strategically plan and implement local marketing activities to promote new cinema & refurbishment launches, delivering an integrated approach across all marketing channels (ATL & BTL, PR, Social, Owned, Earned, Experiential).

- Responsibility for the local marketing strategy to support 100+ cinemas across UK & IRE. Providing marketing guidance, implementing efficient processes, identifying key sites and planning local marketing projects

- Managing the Local Marketing Executive, coaching and developing their skill sets.

- Managing the Digital Always-on-Strategy for PAYG (Pay As You Go customers), across SEO, PPC and Display to increase box office sales, drive a high ROI and grow market share against competitors.

- Brief, plan and implement marketing activity to promote VIP proposition for select cinemas.

- Support National campaigns on a local level including proposition (Unlimited, IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX, Superscreen), customer segments (Students, Families), seasonal (Summer,Christmas, Awards) and key content (Film, alternative film content)

- Provide additional support for underperforming cinemas, including 1st year anniversary campaigns

- Manage PR issues on a local level liaising between our cinemas and our PR agency

- Monitor & Support Local Social & PR activities

- Ensure excellent budget management across all Local marketing campaigns and activities

- Manage marketing agency relationships, ensuring excellent levels of service delivery and output

- Manage field relationships to ensure buy-in, consistent delivery and excellent implementation of all marketing campaigns in cinema

- Ensure on-going post campaign analysis and reviews to continually improve marketing communications activity

Local Marketing Manager - Key Skills/Experience

- Marketing related degree

- Previous management experience of at least one direct report

- Experience of retail, leisure or hospitality multi site marketing, PR & media buying to support delivery of creative & effective strategies and customer facing campaigns

- Experience of campaign planning & management

- Able to prioritise and balance several campaigns at the same time ensuring to deliver projects on time

- End to end campaigns experience in a fast-paced environment

- Experience of working with multiple internal and external stakeholders

- Experience working with and managing budgets

- Good IT skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

- An integrated media background, as well as PR, digital and event marketing.

The Local Marketing Manager will possess strong agency management skills, creating long term partnerships with key suppliers that bring about long term results. With an ability to work in a fast paced environment, achieve tight deadlines and a willingness to go beyond the call of duty the Local Marketing Manager will bring enthusiasm, confidence and professional integrity to the role. The Local Marketing manager will be proactive and action-orientated and will offer a solutions orientated approach to their work.

You will have gained your experience at Marketing Manager level, possessing significant multi-site experience.
