Audit Manager Vice President
6-month contract
Day rate up to £400.00 per day

Our client a well-known international bank based in London-City, are currently looking to expand their Audit department with an Audit Manager VP to join their office on an initial 6-month contract.

This role is responsible for undertaking a range of review and testing, and managing the delivery of the planning, fieldwork and reporting for some audit assignments as Auditor in Charge (AIC), including highlighting key areas of risk, assessing established and new controls in operation over a range of activities in any business in EMEA Region.

Responsibilities of the Audit Manager VP will include:
  • Overseeing the work performed for the audit assignment by other team members.
  • Providing guidance and support to team members as necessary to meet the scope and direction providing by the Audit Partner.
  • Undertaking follow-up and closure of internal audit recommendations.
  • Preparing draft Audit Control Recommendations for review by the Auditor in Charge.
  • Responding to working paper review points raised by the Auditor in Charge.
  • Preparing internal audit working papers in accordance with the Policies and Procedures of Audit Department as documented with the Audit Manual.

The Audit Manager Vice President will have:
  • Previous internal audit experience is required to demonstrate a track record in effective internal audit delivery.
  • Educated to degree standard and the holder of a professional qualification. This is most likely to be ACA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent.
  • A clear understanding of the risk and internal control environment relevant to the business being audited.
