At the bottom of this role advert, you'll find more information on why you'll enjoy working with us...Job DescriptionThe Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is the centralised team which defines and maintains standards for project management within Link Asset Services (LAS). Its objective is to provide support to project managers in the rigorous implementation of standard methods and procedures, leading to efficiencies in the delivery of projects. The PMO will also be responsible for reporting project status and updates to the Link Group Project Approval and Control Committee (PACC).A Project Control Manager is required to join the existing central PMO team within the Change function with the responsibility for operating core PMO services focused on supporting the delivery of specific projects. Reporting on the status of projects and producing updates to key stakeholdersOwnership of a PMO Process - Resource demand and forecast ManagementResponsibility for guidance and support of a PMO Process - Resource Demand ManagementProduce monthly financial and/or status reports for all LAS projects to report to key stakeholdersProject monitoring, tracking and auditingMaintaining all project documentation during projects and archiving at project completionSupport Project Managers across internal and external projectsManagement of any project financial tracking across projectsSupport the Head of LAS PMO and Executive teams in validation of Project informationAdministrative support, meeting planning and minute takingAdministration of team mailboxAdministrative support, meeting planning and minute takingAbility to work cross functionally among projects and departments, and within the PMOQualificationsRequiredAbility to work well both independently and as part of a teamAbility to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks, demonstrating strong organisational skillsTrack record of demonstrating a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and successfully meeting deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate across different levels, both verbally and in writingHighly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPointExperience working in a project environmentAwareness service management tools such as ServiceNowTime management skills to meet agreed targetsDesirableFinancial services backgroundExperience of working in a project environmentP30Formal accreditation in PMI PMBoK or PRINCE2Six Sigma and or CMMIAdvanced MS SharePoint, Project and PowerPoint skillsAdditional InformationRequiredInnovation, change and continuous improvementCommunicationResults focusedTechnical awarenessCommercial awarenessDesirableCustomer serviceTeam workingRisk and conduct managementJob SummaryLeeds, UKFull-time
