We're looking for a creative Content Marketing Executive on behalf of our well-established client based in Poole.

Main purpose of role

You will be responsible for continuing to create eye catching and engaging content across various platforms including web, social, email, blogs and internal collateral.

Focusing on lead acquisition, brand awareness and engagement this role is fantastic for someone who can create engaging and persuasive collateral - both written and designed. As well as the ability to manage social channels effectively with a customer acquisition mindset.

Predominantly this role will be designing, so excellent time-management and high proficiency use of Adobe Creative Cloud products is a must. The remaining time will be split across management of social media channels, blog and email creation as well as other content as and when required.

Main duties
  • Creating marketing collateral which can be used digitally across the website, blogs, infographics, eGuides, advertising banners and more
  • Work with Head of Marketing to develop a content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets and goals
  • Create and publish valuable and engaging content
  • Work closely with the Technical Digital Marketing Manager to brief both web content, look & feel changes covering both UX and SEO improvements
  • Optimise content according to SEO best practices and keyword collections best practice
  • Use Google Analytics to analyse the performance, test and refine the content offering
  • Plan effective social strategies
  • Design new email templates along with brochure templates and course outline documents

Person specification

  • 2 years of experience creating engaging content
  • Ability to create content that will engage and persuade users
  • Social media management capabilities
  • Highly proficient using Adobe Creative Cloud - especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (this is a must)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Able to put the customer at the heart of everything they do
  • Comfortable using Google Analytics and other analytical platforms
  • Understanding of social and organic channels
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Personable team player
  • Passion for creative design

  • Basic HTML5 and CSS3 skills
  • UX and web design experience
  • Photography skills
  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification
  • Confidence using Facebook's ad platform
  • Experience using Google Optimize / other CRO platforms
  • CRM knowledge - Salesforce Pardot or similar
  • Email marketing and marketing automation platform experience (MAP)
