PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The role is responsible for the lead in the creation, maintenance and improvement of customer communications across all the business; ensuring they meet accuracy standards and adhere to FCA and ii's Copy Guidelines.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Write content and deliver campaigns in regard to customer service, operations and marketing updates
  • Understand and incorporate market data, brand strategy, and target audience research into content strategies and workshops
  • Write concise, engaging copy that adheres to brand and FCA guidelines for a wide range of Marketing channels, formats, and target audiences
  • Support the development of "content strategy" as an integral service element
  • Work with the commercial team to develop and report on content and content strategy success metrics
  • Great levels of literacy and attention to detail with strong IT skills in common office packages.
  • You will also possess strong organisational and communication skills as your role will involve liaising with different clients.
  • Good problem solver, able to respond quickly to changing business needs is essential, as the successful candidate will be expected to play a positive role in the continuous improvement of the department and continuously strive to improve working methods.

CORE CAPABILITIES:
  • At least 5 years' experience in managing, writing and executing communications.
  • Experience in FS industry in desired but not expected
  • Knowledge in FCA guidelines a plus
  • Ability to think systematically, organize, and prioritize effectively in an occasionally fast-paced and pressurized environment
  • Detail focused with big-picture understanding
  • Creativity that complements process-driven execution
  • Thinking in terms of scalability and using data to inform decisions
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment and associated risks that require managing.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Highly analytical and KPI driven, structured thinker with strong attention to detail and proven ability to build effective digital marketing strategies and grow businesses
  • Numerate and articulate
  • Confident with a positive can - do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain and deliver insights and recommendations
  • Excellent organisational skills and initiative
  • Methodological way of working and ability to cope with competing demands and prioritise tasks accordingly
