Job Description

As a Finance Administrator you would join our team in our Croydon office. This role is suitable to someone who is looking to start their career in finance or looking to retrain into a financial role.

Within this role you will work closely with project managers to ensure that the projects are set up, forecasted, billed and closed in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities may include:

· Build good relationships with internal clients to ensure appropriate quality and service

· Raise invoices and liaise with credit control to ensure they have all the information required and are received and processed by the client in a timely manner

· Support timesheet compliance

· Ensure correct project set up including billing and appropriate revenue recognition

· Identify and process project closures

· Support the finance function in identifying continuous improvement and be proactive in collaborating and knowledge sharing across the wider finance team

· Support Project Managers to reforecast projects as required; identify and challenge project performance changes

· Support the finance team in acheiving monthly billing targets and improvements to working capital

· Train Project Managers on Oracle and support where required

About you

Ideally, you will have a little experience within finance, however, for us it is more about getting the right person to fit in with the personality of our team.

For this role you must feel confident in Excel and be able to work indepedently and manage your own work load.

Within this role you will work closely with Project Managers, Credit Control, Procurement, etc., so you should also be a confident communicating over the phone with other people.
