Here at Teaching Personnel we are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school in the Basingstoke area and for the last 3 years the school has been rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted. The school caters for children with Social Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties who can not access mainstream education.

The job it's self requires a Teaching Assistant to support pupils on 1:1 or small group basis. This is a rewarding position, yet challenging. If you have experience or feel confident in at least 2 of the following bullet points please get in touch.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 6 months supporting those with additional needs, either in a voluntary or paid capacity
  • Able to work independently and manage behaviour effectively
  • The willingness to undergo Team Teach training
  • Be enthusiastic, passionate and patient
