Bid Manager - Civil Engineering

A very established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor are looking for a Bid Manager, who can oversee work winning and bid functions This role suits someone with experience in managing bid processes for large contractors, ideally experienced within some form of design and presentation

About the Client:
The client has grown year on year since their inception, and are expecting a large growth period in the next few years In order to oversee expected bids for large pieces of civils infrastructure and work on large developments, they feel a Bid Manager is essential moving forward Their capabilities span the entire civils arena; however the majority of their work is within large highways infrastructure, earth moving, residential groundworks, and StreetWorks

About the Role:
Offer strategic advice for future work winning activities
Design supporting material and drawings for tenders
Present to clients when necessary
Prepare and review commercial aspects of the bid
Resolve any potential issues
Able to qualify bid accurately

About the Candidate:
At least 5 years of bid/estimating experience
Driven and self-motivated
Background within large contractors
Effortless communicator, with ability to present to large groups
Ideally degree level qualified in civil engineering or construction
IT literate
Able to draft designs and supporting documentation

Progression within the company
