E-Commerce Executive

I am currently recruiting for an innovative Manufacturer and Supplier based in West Drayton. They are in the construction industry and are in a flourishing sector - worth an estimated £11.1 billion a year. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, with the ability to research and use their own initiative to measure campaigns against targeted opportunities. The Ecommerce Executive will also be responsible for promotional campaigns, design briefing, user experience (UX) and report writing - consisting of performance trends and recommendations to cross-sell and up-sell our 2000+ product portfolio. The individual will also have experience of collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business objectives and maximise sales growth.

What does the job involve?
  • Increase online sales on the B2B web portal and Amazon, by increasing uptake of our product range and activating insight-driven campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Executive to create a seamless and optimised customer journey across both B2B and B2C touchpoints.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product Management and Customer Services to ensure all cross-functional teams are fully aligned with campaigns and the ecommerce strategy.
  • Analyse customer data and purchase behaviours to draw insights that drive business growth.
  • Own the growth of sales delivered through the B2B e-commerce platform and use Web Analytics to refine and continuously optimise the user experience (UX).
  • Ensure all deployed assets have been approved from a Brand and Tone-of-Voice (TOV) perspective.
  • Monitor external customer feedback and act as the main point of contact for all internal queries relating to the B2B and B2C websites, as well as, Amazon.
  • Continually update and refine product related content on Amazon and ensure key stakeholders are managed effectively.
  • Create weekly and/or monthly reports for the Senior Management Team, to summarise status, results, actions and recommendations.

Key attributes were looking for?
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar profession is essential, so that you have the knowledge to adapt and implement data-led decisions with confidence.
  • Degree educated in a similar and/or related discipline.
  • Highly analytical with strong knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Good communication skills to share ideas, findings and insights succinctly.
  • Confident in presenting recommendations.
  • Highly motivated and performance driven.
  • Knowledge of using web analytics to understand the digital path-to-purchase.
  • Strong desire to take on ownership and responsibility.
  • Systemised, analytical and methodical working approach.
  • Results focused.
  • Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in a similar role.
  • Must comply with our company values of honesty, integrity and trust.

£25,000 to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
