This is an ideal role if you want to transition from being a Commercial Insurance Handler, to being an Account Executive and visiting Clients.

Our Client is a well-established Insurance Organisation based in Nottingham. They provide General Insurance advice to a broad spectrum of clients. They are looking for an additional member of staff to deal with Commercial Insurance and will spend 70% of the time in the office dealing with Commercial Insurance Handling and 30% of the time out seeing existing Clients.

Job Specification
  • You will be given a portfolio of Commercial Clients to deal with.
  • You will visit the clients at their premises ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • You will look after the internal Account Handling.
  • Deal with renewals and mid-term changes for existing clients.
  • Complete reviews in line with instructions of the insurance requirements for the client.
  • Discuss and negotiate terms regarding placement.

Personal Requirements
  • You will have in depth knowledge of Commercial classes of business.
  • Be Cert Cii or ACII or FCII qualified
  • You will have an Insurance Broking background.
  • Be able to negotiate and have a good understanding of rating factors and how these are applied.
  • To ensure that policies and procedures are followed in accordance with the FCA requirements at all times
