Skilled Welder / Fabricator required for a large organisation based on the outskirts of Burnley.

Your new company
Your new company is a family run business, and has been since the day of set up. They have been operating for over 50 years, working their way up to be global leaders in components they manufacture. They are looking for a Skilled Welder / Fabricator. They want the post holder to be flexible on shifts, this does NOT mean that you will be working rotating shifts, it simply means having flexibility to cover other shifts when needed. They have Days, Nights and Twilight's shifts available.

Your new role
As part of your new role you will be responsible for both the Welding and Fabrication of various components. You will work off Engineering drawings and work within the companies and regulatory bodies quality remit. You will be tested every 6 months to ensure your work is of the highest quality.

You will be responsible for both MIG and TIG welding along with the use of Fabrication machines such as; Press Breaks, Rolls, Drill Presses, Shears and Flame Cutters.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will ideally be a Time Served Welder / Fabricator with relevant working experience. It will be essential that you have Welding knowledge of both MIG/MAG & TIG along with working with a variety of materials. You will be able to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and have the ability to work both as part of a team and unsupervised.

It will also be essential for you to have Fabrication experience such as using Press Brake machinery.

Experience of working with robot Welding machines would be a distinct advantage, however this isn't an essential for the post.
