This is a unique opportunity to join a multi-award winning, forward thinking tour operator and help us give over 60,000 guests great experiences every year.

Part small team with big aspirations, as our Direct Marketing Manager you'll have a major impact on our brand awareness, sales and profitability.

You'll do:
  • Be responsible for planning and delivering all our trade and consumer marketing campaigns
  • Manage the smooth, coordinated operation of producing and distributing our brochures throughout the year
  • Develop and implement direct and offline marketing campaigns and timely and relevant marketing communications
  • A total brand champion, you'll take ownership of making sure all our marketing activity supports the HF brand, tone of voice and is in line with brand guidelines
  • Support the wider team to create a perfect loop of internal communications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues across the business to help plan, organise trade show-related and customer events, sponsorship opportunities, competitions and other related promotions.

You'll definitely:
  • Be a dynamic, collaborative self-starter who is both experienced and excited about working in a fast paced, constantly evolving marketing environment
  • Exude an empowering, confident and positive approach that focuses as much on your team as it does our customers
  • Remain calm under pressure and be adept at working independently while managing multiple teams, priorities and deadlines
  • Possess people management skills - both within and across teams, and a natural ability to build rapport
  • Be able to communicate effectively at all levels and possess a hawk like attention to detail, excellent sales, and copy writing skills
  • Demonstrate experience of briefing and working with designers & third-party vendors
  • Possess an excellent understanding of Direct Marketing practices, print production and distribution media planning

You might even:
  • Have the winning combination of either a Marketing, Media, Communications or Journalism degree and at least five years' marketing experience within the travel and tourism industry
  • Have experience managing customer databases
  • You don't need to have climbed Mount Everest but an interest in walking or the outdoors in general would be useful.
