Our professional service client is looking for a part time Quality and Compliance Manager to join their business.

The Quality and Compliance Manager will be involved in all aspects of the business, this is a stand-alone role within the larger Central Services team to ensure our client achieves and maintains upper quartile performance in internal quality, compliance and risk management.

Accountabilities are as follows:
  • Full understanding of and compliance with regulatory body requirements (RICS/RTPI)
  • Full understanding of and compliance with any changes in legislation to include GDPR, money laundering etc.
  • Keeping the Executive Board up to date on emerging regulatory and legislative changes
  • Overseeing and improving the performance of internal qualitative audits
  • Fulfilling duties of Complaints Officer within the firm
  • Acting as primary support to the 'Responsible Principal'
  • Overseeing and improving internal processes to ensure risk is managed accordingly
  • Developing appropriate KPIs

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience in a professional services business, developing KPIs and reporting and presenting to senior management
  • Understanding of internal audit, risk management and compliance; ideally well-established internal audit/compliance/quality experience in a professional firm
  • Knowledge of professional regulatory requirements (if not RICS/RTPI then accountancy, legal or similar)

Due to the nature of the role, there will be a requirement to travel around their Office network on a regular basis and on occasion, be prepared to adapt working hours to suit business needs. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and also have the ability to develop good working relationships with Central Services, The Executive Board and the Lead Partners.
