Randstad are delighted to be presenting the opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager to join a great general Manufacturing company. The position has great scope for further progress working in a real family feel environment.

You will have proven experience in a Manufacturing Leadership role with a good knowledge of manufacturing industry and advanced levels of leadership experience.

  • Being the Lead manufacturing engineer for the business, ensuring best practice processes are developed for
  • Providing Manufacturing Engineering support to suppliers
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to equipment, processes and methods
  • Identifying and driving improvement initiative to reduce costs and improve on time delivery
  • Responsible for applying, maintaining and improving lean manufacturing procedures.
  • Playing a lead role in developing processes and implementation of a new ERP solution
  • Actively supporting the development needs of the team to ensure task flexibility

  • Good knowledge of the Manufacturing Industry
  • Advanced levels of business acumen and leadership experience
  • Advanced knowledge in the skills, tools, techniques, disciplines and processes of Manufacturing Engineering
  • Strong knowledge and practitioner of Lean and improvement techniques
  • Advanced training in the skills, disciplines, or processes used. Academic studies to HNC/ HND level, typically following apprenticeship, or experience to equivalent depth, and or breadth.
