Major Incident Manager, responding to a variety of P1 Incidents, the team cover a 24 x 7 shift pattern. You will assist in managing the escalations from critical issues that arise within the critical IT Infrastructure. You will be responsible for arranging with third parties, vendors and assigned resource in a pressurized environment.

Skills required.

You will ensure the Major Incident team follow the agreed communication channels to stakeholder and the procedures are managed within the agreed SLA.

As the primary contact you'll be the authorized IT decision maker around invocation of IT service continuity arrangements, if required to maintain service.

You will ensure there are no security implications or other vulnerabilities during any Major incident, any that are highlighted should be reviewed with any necessary stakeholder.

Plan resources to respond to incidents affecting IT services, consisting of IT and partner staff as necessary to resolve major interruptions to IT Services.

Ensure that MIM produce effective and timely communications to relevant stakeholders in the event of an interruption to IT services.

Work closely with other teams that form part of the Service Operations, Service Management Centre and IT.

Shift allowance is an additional for this role. 3 on 3, 4 off and 4 on 4, 4 off shift pattern

Salary: £45,000 to £49,000 year
