We now have an opportunity available for an Income Officer to join us to maximise the collection of home ownership, charges, private sector scheme rents and commercial income.

Responsible and accountable for ensuring that private tenant rents, shared owner rents and leaseholder charges are collected and that any arrears are recovered quickly and efficiently, you will liaise with a number of commercial customers regarding payment of outstanding invoices and aim to be the best, beat performance targets and maintain the best possible standards.

With a good standard of education and excellent customer service skills, candidates must have relevant experience of working in a Housing, Leasehold Management or Income Collection related role and be able to communicate effectively in an easy to understand and jargon-free way.Capable of using a wide range of computer software and of managing and prioritising your own workload, you must be comfortable working effectively in various locations e.g. Head Office, community care, own home.

The role requires the successful candidate to interview customers in the office, at their home or over the telephone and so carrying out lone visits to customers is an essential part of the role.

Fixed term 2 year contract (18.5 hours per week)
