Position: Finance Manager

Location: Brentwood, Essex

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Due to growth, ProMedical are recruiting for a Finance Manager for our busy office located in the heart of vibrant Brentwood, Essex.

The main objective for the Finance Manager role is to deliver accurate and timely accounting information to stakeholders of the business.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Recruitment Payroll and Credit Control function and will report directly to the Head of Finance.

To succeed in this role, you will have a strong financial and management accounting background, as well as experience in managing a team

Key Duties:

·Finance Manager will be responsible for the "weekly management operational reports"

·Finance Manager will be responsible for the "Monthly Management Accounts"

·Finance Manager will be responsible for the "Quarterly Intermediaries Reporting to the HMRC"

·Finance Manager will be responsible for the "Finance monthly reconciliation"

·Finance Manager will be responsible for "Vat Returns"

·Finance Manager will be responsible for the "PAYE/NI Monthly reconciliation and payment request"

·Finance Manager will be responsible for the "Pensions Monthly Reconciliations and payment requests"

·Finance Manager will be responsible for the "Other Balance Sheet Reconciliations"

·Finance Manager will be responsible for the "Debtors Review for difficult/slow debt"

·Finance Manager will be responsible for the "Creditors Review and suggested payments"

·Finance Manager will be responsible for the "Bank Reconciliation"

·Finance Manager will be responsible for the "Invoice Discounting management and reconciliation"

·Finance Manager will be responsible for the "Prepayments/Accruals - Monitoring and processing"

·Finance Manager will be working with Credit Control and Payroll to ensure that financial accounting records are correct, overseeing any amendments

·Finance Manager will be working with Head of Accounts in ensuring that processes are followed and timings are kept tight across the Accounting/Credit Control/Ledgers and External Payroll functionalities

Key skills:

·3+ year experience working in a financial accounting position

·ACCA or CIMA qualified

·Excellent level of excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Macros

·Payroll Experience

·Sage Accounts and Payroll experience

·Knowledge of recruitment industry and advantage

·Knowledge of Invoice Discounting an advantage

·Communicate confidently at all levels, internally and Externally

·Well organised and have the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines

·Excellent attention to detail

·Customer service focused

·Solution focused

·Able to work as part of a team, but also on own initiative
