Your new role
As an Information Architect, you will work with the Information Management Team and be responsible for information management, which covers topics such as Data Warehousing and Analytics Strategy, Data Governance and Information Architecture. This role will provide you with a variety of different projects and business areas to work in. Other responsibilities include:
  • Work with the Information Architects to ensure the Business Information Model is maintained using the modelling toolset and to standards, to support development of business and technical data models
  • Maintain the data models integrity and completeness, to actively provide advice, guidance and mentoring
  • To ensure that subsets of the data models are 'checked out' and backed correctly by anyone wishing to use or update the models, to identify exceptions and anomalies with the application of the data models and consistently work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve.
  • Provide detailed advice regarding methods, tools and their application to the business, Deploy and apply strategies that map out the future systems/information landscape
  • Identify, provide advice and implement all aspects of architecture, systems development, integration and testing at the business level, ensure that relevant strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied
  • Work with technology partners to design/develop/provide system products that meet requirements and support in operation
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the definition of service components and their re-use
  • Undertake people management

What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience of developing Information Architectures to support major projects
  • Influencing skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Strong data modelling skills and use of toolsets
  • TOGAF Degree or relevant business experience (10 years)
