As a result our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.We are currently seeking a Risk, Opportunity, Trend & Change Lead for the country's major new build nuclear power project based here in the South West. The role sits within the (ROTC) discipline of Project Controls and reports to the Integrated Project Controls, ROTC Manager.Responsible for the management of trends and changes within the ROTC management framework, for the Central Controls Teams & Programme Controls Team, the role is tasked with ensuring that:The central systems are co-ordinated and updated in line with business changes. Lead the provision of support and training in trend and change management (T&CM) processes and procedures to the Programme Control Teams. Support our client in making effective and efficient decisions on trends and changes, Increasing delivery certainty and stakeholder confidence by creating and embedding a proactive management culture.Job ObjectivesThe aim of the Integrated Project Controls (IPC) Function is to act as a centre of excellence as the intelligent owners of the single source of delivery performance information, and operate as an integrated enabler for the successful delivery of this £20bn nuclear new build project.The roles objectives therefore are to:Support the ROTC Manager in the implementation and maintenance of Project Controls processes for ROTC, including the production of monthly reports, through the provision of intelligent information and analysis; Collaborate with other Disciplines of Project Controls, as well as other Project Support Functions, to help deliver Project goals in keeping with the project principles of Trust, Transparency and Teamwork. Core Processes: Lead the co-ordination and facilitation of trend and change management responsibilities and activities, including identification, assessments of schedule and cost impact, production of Project Change Requests (PCRs), management and development reviews, escalation, close-out and assurance; Ensure that all trend and change data are accurately maintained within management tools (EcoSys); Responsible for updating the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) log to ensure the decisions made by the Project ROTC Committee are transacted correctly; Co-ordinate and manage Project ROTC Committee meetings , including the collation of documents for review, issuing of the agenda and communication of actions; Lead the provision of training, advice and support on processes and procedures to Programme Controls Teams , including guidance on funding source ; Validate CE / Variation and PMIs in CEMAR ; Lead the co-ordination and delivery of trend and change reports to a defined reporting cycle; Lead the development and implementation of continuous improvements to the T&C management approach, as agreed by the ROTC Manager; Adhere to Project governance and ROTC standards and procedures; Ensure all Project documents, in particular Sensitive Information, are correctly protectively marked, and protected in accordance with client policies and procedures.Skills RequiredProven relevant experience in a Project Management or Project Controls environment in a similar Trend & Change role on a major construction project; Proven leadership experience; Substantial experience in the operation and management of an ROTC management framework; Substantial experience in the use of T&C management software systems such EcoSys. Desirable: Experience in the use of a scheduling tool such as Primavera P6; Experience in the use of risk management software systems such as ARM, Safran and @risk; Experience in presenting complex information to senior executives and shareholders; Experience in the Nuclear sector. QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of a degree in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying or other related field; Professionally qualified with chartered or equivalent status; PACKAGE:
