Experienced School Administrator - SIMS experience essential

Your new role
You will be responsible for undertaking administrative, financial and organisational processes within the school, including the supervision of other administrative staff. You will be working under instruction of senior level staff to assist with the planning and development of support services. It is essential to have previous experience in a school office environment. A high level of SIMS proficiency is also essential for this role.

What you'll need to succeed
- General administrative duties including keeping computerised pupil records up-to-date using SIMS, providing reports when necessary, providing administration support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team when required, prepare money for banking, maintain filing systems, raising purchase orders and process invoices, answering incoming calls, greeting visitors, typing and various other IT based tasks.
- Managing school meal administration including maintaining parent pay, setting up new accounts, generating letters, keeping accurate computer records on FMS & SIMS,
- Administration of admissions / leavers to include updating and maintaining records, ensuring that staff are notified about new pupils & keeping records of where pupils transfer to and where records have been sent.
