The Role: The primary objective of this role is to build and implement our client's digital engagement strategies for business to business and direct to patient audiences with the goal of driving customer retention, demand and lead generation. Partnering closely with local and European marketing teams, this role will leverage all digital engagement channels (web, social media, email) along with the various CRM systems across the markets to develop an omni-channel marketing approach. This role will support the hospital markets (UK & Nordics) as well as marketing directly to B2C customers.

Responsibilities for the position of Digital Marketing, Customer Engagement Specialist

* Developing and executing a digital marketing strategy to drive customer and patient reach and conversion, seeking to maximise return on investment within agreed budget

* Partnering with European and global teams to build and optimise use of digital channels - including web, eCommerce, and social media platforms for B2B and B2C engagement

* Supporting the development, implementation, and refinement of PPC activities - focusing for different channel audiences

* Working with agency partners and regional digital team to optimise all websites for SEO

* Establishing and executing a customer relationship management (CRM) database marketing approach to support the relevant channel strategies

* Partnering with key internal teams to drive the digital engagement journey; providing expertise and guidance for the broader marketing team on the use of online, social, search, database, mobile, cross-channel and omni-channel optimisation.

* Building and leveraging insights from customer and patient segmentation to inform a differentiated marketing approach for each target segment

* Managing a communications agency partner

Requirements for the role of Digital Marketing, Customer Engagement Specialist:

* 3+ years' experience in digital marketing, CRM, and eCommerce in an agency or brand environment

* Ideally experience in healthcare marketing

* Degree or equivalent

* Proven multi-channel marketing experience with expertise in digital marketing and CRM

* Experience with the implementation and use of marketing automation software integrated with a CRM platform

* Experience with CSS and HTML for email creation

* Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability to complex changing market landscape

* Experience working with digital agencies, IT groups and eCommerce vendors and marketing teams

The Package for Digital Marketing, Customer Engagement Specialist:

* Salary: £30,000-£40,000
