This company is a market leading supplier of complex mechanical engineering components that go into process markets. Chemical, Food & Beverage, Process Manufacturing, Oil & Gas and Utility sectors as well as OEMs and reseller organisations. The roles will be primarily office based, although Account Managers will be required to make occasional visits, as a result this would be an ideal opportunity for an internal sales professional looking for additional external responsibilities.

You will manage your customer base, keep them updated of new products and assist them with technical enquiries. You will have a good technical understanding of fluid, flow control and instrumentation equipment. You will have a good understanding and exposure to process industries, along with outstanding communication and sales ability.

Day to day duties;

·Account management of the current customer base

·Identify opportunities for new business development

·Complete sales calls and sales visits with clients

·Work directly with customers to understand their requirements and recommend suitable products.

·Qualify web enquiries and turn them into sales

Required background

·5 years Technical Sales experience from an associated mechanical engineering sector is required

·Engineering qualification, For example, Degree, HNC, HND, Apprenticeship or equivalent.

·Both new business development and strong account management skills.

·Ideally you will be used to working in a fast paced sales environment.
