We need to adapt to changing market conditions and customer expectations; to become more flexible and agile in how we work, and empower our people to perform at their best.The roleReporting to the People Director, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) will support the leaders of the business to execute their objectives and drive the people agenda for the Programmes and Production area of DST. They will provide progressive HR expertise on all people matters including:Supporting the development of the people agenda, championing employee engagement initiatives, and acting as an advocate for your business area.Developing and implementing the associated people plan, initiatives and processes for your business area, to build a healthy, high-performing organisation Building strong and influential relationships with key stakeholders, including trade union and employee representatives and colleagues across the sector, to deliver our strategic objectives.Collaborating with talent, reward and resourcing partners to hire, develop and retain great people.Coaching managers to improve their impact as leaders and enabling them to resolve complex employee case, seeking legal advice where required.Analysing data, building insight and understanding of your business area, making recommendations and implementing associated changes to improve processes and enhance performance.About youProven HR Business Partner, with generalist experience including resourcing/talent acquisition, reward, talent development, change management, and employee relations. Experience in a fast-paced, people-focused environment, (with some unionised or manufacturing experience)Demonstrates commercial awareness with a good understanding of the business environment including customers, competitors, etc. Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to relate to, influence and coach managers and employees at all levels of the organisation Ability to use analytical and experimental data to make good decisionsA self-starter, who is performance driven - with a desire to make significant contribution/impact. Is able to work independently and as an active team member.A critical thinker - who can understand complex issues (balancing the detail and the big picture), using insight/data (evidence) and their judgement to make good decisions and have a positive impact.An inclusive leader who has a passion for creating a great people experience and enabling a diverse and high performing culture. Someone who will delegate and hold people accountable appropriately, as well as to support, guide and coach.What else do I need to know?Competitive Salary + bonus and packageFlexible working available: full time (37 hours per week) or part time considered (minimum 30 hours).Location - Flexible: The Programmes & Production business unit is largely based in Ashton Gate Bristol, and the role also has responsibility for Leicester. Face time is important in this role so travel is required to these sites but working from home can be done when required. We also have sites in Filton (North Bristol), Plymouth and Ashchurch (Tewkesbury) where you can work from.Must be eligible for UK security clearance

To find out more please click here.About the roleThe Keynsham QSHE team are a supporting function responsible for providing and maintaining an effective assurance capability within Engineering Services (ES) Projects which includes both the Dreadnought and DSPM projects providing technical design/support services for submarines and Digital Solutions providing Information, Analytic, Decision Support and IT services.This Senior QSHE role will positively support this assurance capability within the DSPM, Dreadnought submarine or Digital Solutions projects by providing functional advice, guidance and support to the business relating to the effective delivery of a QSHE assurance programme in respect of the organisations business governance management system and customer/regulatory requirements.You will provide support to the ES QSHE Manager, helping the project fulfilling QSHE contractual / legislative requirements. You will manage QSHE BMS documentation, facilitate process mapping, and undertaking technical document reviews. You will liaise with the Project to provide advice and guidance on QSHE assurance matters, undertake auditing and CAPA management as well as identifying risks and opportunities within QSHE activities.
