Senior Pension AdministratorCompany:MercerDescription:SummaryWorking closely with the Project Managers to form part of a dedicated data gathering team who are responsible for the effective delivery of an excellent client focused service to achieve the business objectives of Data Assurance Services Pension Administration. To deliver the specific function for Data Assurance Services across Leatherhead and Bristol in order to deliver all services in a timely manner, ensuring exceptional standards of customer service and representing and maintain our culture and brand. Successfully manage, monitor and control DAS project workloads to achieve business objectives, client expectations and strategy plans. Train and mentor junior members of the team.Perhaps you have extensive experience as a Pensions Administrator and want a new change / challenge to analyse, correct and manipulate data or step up to the next level. Or maybe your looking for a change of pace with a company that are market leaders and would like to gain a good working knowledge and technical expertise in all Data Assurance Service areas. What ever it is, we'd like to hear your story.Manage administrative and case management issues as well as data processing activities on a daily basisMonitor project schedules to ensure timelines and deliverables are met; notify project manager or client if timelines are in jeopardyTest and analyse pension data and systems during implementation and administrationManage client data using variety of technical tools and resourcesManage client requests and processes.Responsibilities for this position include the following:Assist the team with the analysis of data working within a regulated environmentStrong ability to look at data, analyse, correct and manipulate using your advanced excel skillsMust have strong knowledge and experience of using Excel to advanced levels including Vlookups, formulae writing, VBA and mail merge toolsAbility to look at the bigger picture to ensure that the data tells an accurate storyReviewing work that is rejected due to an error and highlighting any need for further training or request further clarification to aid training and reduce the number of rejections for the same reasonBe a champion of change and provide opinions if you have an idea to create more efficienciesInteracting with colleagues in a professional mannerAttending training sessions and completing compulsory training modules as requiredQualifications:As this role will be dealing with the analysis and manipulation of pension data it is important that you consider the following before submitting your application:Advanced Excel skills including Vlookup, formulae writing and mail merge toolsAbility to analyse, correct and manipulate dataAbility to work in a regulated environmentGSCE completion in mathematics and English grade C and aboveHigh levels of literacy and numeracyGood written and communication skillsKnowledge and willingness to learn about different schemesMinimum 3 years Defined Benefit experience is essentialAbout usAt Mercer, we make a difference in the lives of more than 110 Million people every day by advancing their health, wealth, and careers.
