Are you a manufacturing engineer with experience working within an electronics manufacturing environment?

Then you might be just the person our client is looking for!

You would be joining a company that design and develop embedded computing products used in land, sea and air defence applications.

Due to expansion, the client are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to join them on an initial three-month contract basis.

The successful manufacturing engineer will carry out the following duties:

· Streamlining and improving the production process

· Design, deployment and ownership of tooling and production equipment

· Foster continuous improvement operations at each stage of the product lifecycle

· Failure investigation, root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions

· Attendance at NPI and design review meeting, providing input from a continuous improvement perspective

The successful production engineer will have the following experience:

· 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in an electronic engineering environment

· Good understanding of electronic manufacturing quality standards including IPC-A-610 and IPC-JSTD-001

· A change agent accustomed to influencing and motivating others

· Excellent communication at all levels

· The ability to obtain SC Clearance
