An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Analyst to work for a Global company based in East London for a period of 8 months.

Role
  • Do you have experience working as a Data Analyst?
  • Have you been responsible for analysing labour capacity and weekly reporting using SQL/ Excel?


Our client is looking for experienced Data Analysts to work within the Logistics Capacity Planning Team, supporting weekly, monthly and quarterly capacity planning activities across their European operations.

Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Critical planning inputs collection from multiple sources and stakeholders, including data validation and quality check
  • Generation of forward and backward-looking planning reports for senior management and stakeholders, including identification of planning insights
  • Establish and implement inputs gathering processes
  • Create mechanisms for identification of planning insights based on weekly business reviews


Required skills:
  • Completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Experience with business analysis, finance, supply chain analysis or strategic development
  • Proficiency with MySQL, SQL, Excel
  • Ability to think quantitatively and qualitatively about operating processes and outcomes
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders


Preferred skills:
  • Project Management experience
  • Familiarity with transportation concepts
  • Forecasting, planning, optimisation
  • Excellent written and verbal skills

Hours

You will be expected to work Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm ( 1 hour unpaid lunch break)
