Office365 SME - Infrastructure Engineer

Fantastic opportunity to work with a multi-national, household name business as an Infrastructure Engineer specialising on Microsoft Office365.

You will take technical ownership of an Office365 implementation which has been rolled out to over 50,000 users across multiple countries. The role will involve both project / design / implementation work together with BAU and you'll be working closely with architects, engineers and built teams.

You'll manage, maintain, support, troubleshoot and optimize Office365 components including Exchange Online, Intune, Skype for Business, Azure AD, AD Connect and Active Directory environment on On-Premise and Hybrid configurations.

The organisation is adopting a 'cloud first' approach and are using Azure heavily (currently the business are syncing 13 distinct AD domains into a single Azure AD tenancy).

The position reports directly to the Infrastructure Manager.

What you'll need:

In depth experience of management and monitoring of Office 365 services and hybrid infrastructure.
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online and it's interaction with Active Directory
Considerable knowledge of managing Office 365 and other related cloud solutions
Experience with the migration of large volumes of data into the cloud platform
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with user access to cloud services
Ability to create advanced PowerShell scripts to schedule repeatable Office 365 actions
Knowledge of Office 365 Teams / Groups / Delve
Supporting Skype for Business and troubleshooting call quality issues
Experience managing directory sync into Azure AD
Supporting the sync and sharing of large volumes of data with OneDrive
Advanced skills managing Office 365 using PowerShell
Experience with Azure AD user management both for Office 365 and third-party services
Exporting usage and licensing information through Office 365 reporting
Understanding of firewall requirements needed for all Office 365 functions
Deep understanding of supporting Office desktop applications
Support of Office 365 mobile applications
Advanced knowledge of migrating data and services between Office 365 tenants
