An excellent opportunity to join a wesll established firm in Tonbridge. My client is looking for a Helpdesk Analyst which will start off solving various 1st Line Support issues and has a dedicated progression path for the individual. The role will be supporting clients with software queries in various matters. If you are either a graduate or have some customer service or helpdesk experience, this role would be great for you.

Full training will be given but applicants must be computer literate and be good communicator. You will need good team working skills as you will be working closely with various other teams throughout the business.

General duties involve giving general application support for products by telephone and email to and will also involve:
  • providing 1st line technical support to customers - taking enquiries by phone and email
  • asking questions about the problem and explaining possible solutions
  • dealing with common or basic technical issues
  • using automated diagnostic programs to solve problems
  • updating knowledge bases with details of common problems which customers can view online
  • using helpdesk software to log calls with descriptions of issues, progress and solutions
  • passing calls to a team of 2nd line support analysts if the problem is more complex
  • arranging for a technician to visit the customer if a problem can't be solved over the phone or by email
