Cease and Billing Manager for a major UK telecoms company

Up to £35k base plus 10% bonus and benefits

We are currently recruiting for a newly created role to join our Customer Operations team based in our Wakefield office. In the role of Cease and Billing Team Manager you will effectively lead, direct and manage cease and billing activities to maximise billed revenue and minimise margin leakage to suppliers.

More specifically, your key accountabilities will include;
  • Manage the Cease and Billing team to ensure billing is activated on delivery of new services. To ensure ceases are proactively managed and billing is ceased on supplier to minimise margin leakage.
  • Accountable for the development and daily monitoring of analytical tools to ensure deliveries across us are progressed to billing. Identifying failings and implementing proactive resolution.
  • Support training and development of the team to ensure all team members are skilled adequately to ensure delivery.
  • Monitor complex cases or ceases or billing to drive resolution
  • To act as senior point of escalation for the business for areas of unbilled or inaccurately billing deliveries and ceases.
  • Effective proactive liaison with project delivery teams internally, to ensure smooth transition to billing is aligned to successfully rollout complex projects
  • Proactively identify and make recommendations for new ways of working with a focus on the future
  • Responsible for the resourcing of the team including recruitment and prioritise work in line with key team or project priorities
  • Analyses business risks before acting, prepared to take measured risks when appropriate
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the business, work with peers within the department to deliver against the strategic goals. When required to Manages stakeholder expectations
  • Comply with all IBMS requirements as detailed in our policies, ISO certifications, industry standards, legal & regulatory obligations and other related company arrangements and procedures
  • Monitor credits raised due to failings within Customer Operations and work with relevant areas to drive improvements, tracking until resolution.

To be successful in your application you will be able to demonstrate strong skills in relationship/stakeholder management, commercial acumen and be results driven. Experience of working in provisioning or margin assurance would be highly advantageous for this role.
