The Team

The global compliance team ensures the firm meets with regulatory compliance standards in all jurisdictions in which it operates. The firm is building an enterprise-grade compliance response to blockchain and cryptoasset risk and is shaping a function to robustly meet the challenges posed by next-generation technologies. Operating on the nexus between traditional and emerging financial services, the compliance team utilises best-in-class processes and technologies to lead the way in compliance in this space.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Interpret relevant compliance laws, rules and regulations and translate into appropriate business policies and procedures within EMEA.
  • Write and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide advisory support to the business on compliance matters.
  • Assist in researching then preparation and submission of appropriate regulatory licenses
  • Provide external advisory services on regulatory compliance to Diginex's clients.
  • Support in the preparation of training courses and in the coordination of appropriate the Compliance committee(s).

Required experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Law with proven working experience in an asset management or hedge fund company
  • Strong knowledge of the compliance law and guidance applicable in Europe, include MTF and MiFID legislation
  • Understand the international regulatory environment applicable to asset and hedge fund management
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to speak French or German is desirable
