Service Delivery Manager - Yeovil

£50,000 - £60,000

A large scale IT services business based in the south of the UK are looking for a highly motivated Service Delivery Manager as part of continued growth across their portfolio of UK and EU clients.

Working in a fast-paced environment, that values innovation, this business are looking for a battled tested Service Delivery Manager who will be accountable for all IT services critical to the business.

Based in the Head Office in Yeovil, reporting into a Services Manager you will obtain and interpret relevant data to understand service requirements and priorities in order to improve the operational effectiveness of services, adding additional value to the business functions.

To be successful in this role you will have...
  • A proven track record of continuous service improvement and operational performance through proactive identification and resolution of service-related issues.
  • An ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, peers and external providers, turning technical information into business language and vice versa.
  • An ability to influence and build effective working relationships with customers, peers, and external providers.
  • Demonstrable skills and certification in best practices or methodologies such as ITIL, Six Sigma, ISO20000.
  • A tenacity to deliver with the resilience to deal with difficult situations.

This Service Delivery Manager position will suit a highly customer driven individual with a proven track record of managing internal and external suppliers and building effective relationships with senior business stakeholders. Previous experience of Service Management, within a multi-national company with a fast-paced challenging customer environment as well as a multi-supplier outsourced environment is essential.
