Helpdesk Engineer - Epsom, Surrey

Salary £18 000 - £20 000 + Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and highly experienced company that provides exceptional, specialized IT support and technical expertise to their SME clients across the UK. Reporting to the Helpdesk Manager, you will be working as part of a team of engineers providing exceptional support and maintenance of computer networks at all levels. The range of tasks you cover will ensure customer problems are resolved in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.

In order to be considered for this Helpdesk Engineer Role you will:
  • Be an exceptional team player, determined to ensure that customer problems are satisfactorily resolved or escalated to the correct team
  • Answer technical calls from customers and log cases and report on or resolve faults
  • Have a professional and helpful telephone manner
  • Monitor and maintain servers and workstation monitoring systems
  • Accurately record and maintain tickets when dealing with incidents and queries

Working as a Helpdesk Engineer you will:
  • Have experience providing 1st line technical support to IT and Telecoms customer bases
  • Have excellent communications skills and a proven track record of maintaining SLA's on support tickets
  • Preferably have experience working with Microsoft Server 2016, Exchange, Office 365, Cisco Meraki and Zyxel firewalls, Solarwinds, Sophos Anti-virus
