My client requires an experienced Project Engineer/Manager to oversee mechanical handling/material handling projects mainly in the pharmaceutical industry. You will need to come from a strong engineering background with a keen eye for problem solving.

The role:

* To launch project initialisation meetings with stakeholders across the business

* Plan all aspects of product development, implementation and product delivery

* Develop the project schedule and agree quality, cost and delivery milestones

* Manage mitigate and communicate risks potential barriers to progression and resource constraints throughout the project lifecycle to all stakeholders

* To manage the cost, quality and delivery from project launch.

* Ensure on time delivery of projects

* Produce weekly reporting as well as coordinating design sign off meetings

* Prepare and report at regular project and stakeholder review meetings to ensure good communication and engagement


* 5 years or more experience in Mechanical Engineering.

* 5 years or more experience in a Project Engineer/Management role.

* Strong in Microsoft Projects.

* Must have thick skin and be calm under pressure. You may be working on multiple projects at once and it can be stressful.

* Ability to communicate quickly and effectively with different people and stakeholders within the business.

* Proven track record delivering projects ideally in the mechanical handling/pharmaceutical industries.

* Track record overcoming difficult challenges as well as demonstrating being able to demonstrate problem solving ability.

Our client is offering a salary of £35,000-£45,000

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8:15 - 5:15 and 8:15 - 4pm on Fridays.

23 days holiday + bank holidays
