An exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager, responsible for a Customer/Technical Support team. Working within the Aviation industry, based in Wokingham and salaried at c£60,000 + bonus.

Job Description

As an Engineering Manager, you will work closely with customers and suppliers to ensure products supplied are meeting the Airworthiness Directive. You will constantly review products and suppliers and seek cost saving opportunities.

Day to day, you will manage teams split over 2 sites (based about an hour apart), ensuring customer/technical support engineers are being kept up to date on any product changes, recalls, improvements, etc. You will also liaise with global teams on product and industry updates.

Using your engineering background within the aerospace/aviation industry, you will manage and support reliability tests, including failure analysis and corrective action reporting.

Person Specification

You will be qualified with at least HND (or equivalent) in an Aerospace or Aviation Engineering subject. You will have proven experience in managing engineers in the duties as mentioned above.

Excellent communication skills across direct reports and customers is essential.

Salary

A basic salary of c£60,000 + package.
