The Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a truly Global Business, as a Finance Business Process Lead within Finance and ERP delivery. This role is pivotal for the finance team and will be instrumental in the smooth running of the financial process and ERP installation. You will have touch points across the global offices and will be the main point of contact for many of the finance functions.
  • Responsible for defining and delivering the new business capabilities for the ERP Programme Global Design and defined future phases including policy, people, process, management information and data;
  • Responsible for mobilising and managing allocated workstreams and deliverables working closely with Business Process Owners covering specific elements related to the following:
  • Tax, GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management & Reporting; P2P & Expenses; and Pricing, Margin Analysis, Billing and Receivables.
  • Responsible for defining the application functional and non-functional requirements
  • Responsible for attendance at Solution Authority to ensure business requirements and benefits are realised and that Change Request are aligned to Global Design and future rollout phases;
  • Responsible for engaging with the ERP Software Vendors Product Development Teams to assess the release of new or enhanced functionality in their product roadmap
  • Responsible for the Data Migration Strategy & Plans in respect of business impact, working closely with the Data Lead and Business Process Owner
  • Responsible for the transition of key business process, technical and data knowledge into the designated ERP Operations Team Subject Matter Expert
  • Responsible for the provision of guidance and support to Business Process Owners on the Global Design functionality & benefits
  • Responsible for the collective agreement of the design documentation for whole solution - policy, people, process, management information, data and applications;
  • Responsible for contributing significantly to the development of the Global Design Target Operating Model spanning people, process, systems and data working closely with the Change Management Lead and Business Process Owners
  • Responsible for working closely with Change Management Lead on all aspects of business readiness from design to Go-Live activities
  • Responsible for working closely with the Data Lead to Define Management Information requirements liaising closely with Data/BI Governance Lead to ensure requirements are fulfilled in Data/BI Strategy, Approach & Plans

The Person
  • Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA accountant
  • Accounting and analytical/analysis skills.
  • Experience of implementing new systems, ideally SAP or ORACLE
  • Knowledge of various financial systems and financial reporting aspects.
  • Experience of working with cloud-based technologies.
  • Good project management skills (project planning, issue / risk management, status reporting etc.)
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant financial analysis and reporting experience.

  • £40,000 to £50,000 per annum
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holiday
