Knowledge Manager/ CSI (Continual Service Improvement) Professional (SC Cleared)

Advantage Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Knowledge Management and CSI (Continual Service Improvement) Professional. This is a fixed term contract initially until 31st January 2020 paying circa £33,000 PAYE pro rata (can go Ltd at £22hr).

Strong communication skills are essential within this role. On a daily basis your will speak with various people within the SIAM organisation, Business Authority and the Tower Service Providers at different levels from Ops Staff to Executive Level therefore it is imperative you offer great communication skills, an assertive attitude with ability to build good relationships.

The role will focus on knowledge management and CSI as follows;

Knowledge
  • Manage a pipeline of Knowledge Management drumbeat and improvement tasks effectively.
  • Organise creation of effective and high quality knowledge articles which support the SIAM Knowledge Management strategy.
  • Ensure that the knowledge bases are managed and maintained as per Contract Obligations.
  • Ensure KM Contractual Obligations are tracked and met.
  • Champion the Knowledge Management culture by encouraging and supporting the representatives across the Business to adopt and be fully engaged in the process.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the Knowledge Management process which support the KM Objectives and lead the opportunities through to completion.
  • Communicate the Knowledge Management Key performance Indicators to Key Stakeholders and manage operational risks accordingly.

CSI
  • Pro-actively seeks out CSI opportunities, working with key stakeholders and contributors and deliver improvement initiatives to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including Service Leads, Account Leads, Commercial Leads, Operational Capability teams, cross lifecycle functions; customers and suppliers.
  • Ensure opportunities are baselined where possible so that measured improvement can be demonstrated and reported on.
  • Maintain an overview of total improvement opportunities (CSI register), so that duplicate or conflicting effort can be avoided.
  • Drive the managed suppliers continual improvement processes, ensuring that the client obtains the anticipated value and benefits from the relationships and associated contracts.
  • Hold a weekly CSI progress review with the customer
  • Hold a monthly review with the customer to agree, prioritise and report progress of CSI delivery
  • Track and progress against targets via the KPI metrics report

Candidate requirements
  • A clear understanding of Knowledge & CSI Management Best Practices
  • An understanding of industry standards relating to Knowledge & CSI Management
  • Tenacious individual with strong motivation
  • ITIL Foundation essential, Practitioner desirable
  • The ability to persuade and influence client and stakeholder relationships
  • Very strong communication skills: oral, written, presentation, facilitation
  • Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
  • Technical understanding with ability to translate into business concepts
