The Company

Due to their exciting continued expansion, our client who is fast becoming the leading broadband network and services provider are looking for a Business Sales Manager to join their team! Having recently secured a significant private investment, they are planning a major fibre roll-out across the East of England, connecting homes to next generation full fibre infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

You'll be reporting to the Head of Sales and Territory Development, with direct responsibility for:
  • Contacting organisations with broadband service propositions through outbound calls, field appointments, cold calls, postal and electronic communications
  • Produce presentations and customer proposals
  • Progress business and corporate leads
  • Follow-up and close new business
  • Ensure customer expectations are met by liaising and keeping customers appraised with installation progress
  • In the case of bespoke services/installations - ensuring installations are correct planning, requirements understood between teams.
  • Target opportunities for new business and work with the marketing team to develop marketing and sales approach
  • Develop and maintain sales targets
  • Record details of all correspondence
  • Negotiate new contracts to maximise value and margins
  • Identify additional value-added sales opportunities within existing customer base to include telephony, CCTV etc.

Candidate Requirements
  • Proven sales background within telecommunications - minimum of 3 years
  • Both networking and telephony sales experience (leased lines and VOIP)
  • Knowledge of network resilience and redundancy
  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Fantastic time management
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Fibre broadband business sales experience
  • Ability to think outside the box!
