Our client are a leading independent Training Provider with a solid reputation and client base who have also recently been voted amongst the Top 100 Companies in the UK to work for - as part of their continued success and growth they are seeking to appoint in an experienced and motivated Childcare Leaning Consultant / Assessor who can teach / assess at various North London & Herts based locations

This is an excellent company to work for, with a great package on offer - it is essential you are experienced in Childcare Assessing, and ideally be able to turn your hand to cover other qualifications, such as Management and Team Leading.

The role involves -
  • Responsible for the required number of learners in accordance with company guidelines
  • To deliver the appropriate number of qualifications in accordance with company guidelines alongside specialist qualification (Childcare) and management experience
  • To maintain paperwork to the minimum required standards
  • To ensure learner retention is at an acceptable level
  • Review learners performance in accordance with contract guidelines
  • Motivate/drive learners to achieve in line with agreed targets and deadlines
  • Support the learning process
  • Plan the assessment process with learners - observe/ record assessment and complete all relevant documentation
  • Maintain caseloads to the required levels
  • Feedback any business opportunities to the Manager.
  • Manage own time effectively in order to complete workload and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Plan, schedule and evaluate own work.

Essential Skills
  • A good standard of general education
  • GCSE (or equivalent) English and Math's
  • Up to date Qualifications to Deliver Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5
  • Management experience and delivery of generic qualifications
  • A good knowledge of IT based systems
  • D32/33, A1 Unit or TAQA

Desirable Skills
  • Teacher, training qualifications PTLLS CTLLS
  • D34 or V1 Award

Ideally to start August / September (subject to notice periods), the base salary up to £30k depending upon experience - on top of this is a performance bonus which also equates to an extra £4k per annum - , some occasional travel across to the HO in West Yorkshire is required, so your own transport is essential (petrol expenses paid). The role also has several other benefits attached that can be discussed at interview stage.
