IT Business Development Manager (Gambling sector) for a major UK Payment solutions provider

Up to £65k base plus £65k commission and £6.5k car allowance

The main purpose of this role is to deliver new business opportunities within the Gaming sector for our comprehensive suite of solutions including fraud, collections and online payments

This is a key role that will enable us to grow its new business revenues and rapidly extend its footprint in the Mid-Market and Enterprise segments

What you will do:
  • Achieving sales targets through delivering new business from the Mid-Market and Enterprise segments
  • Engaging clients using the processes and practices embedded within our business to represent in a professional way and increase opportunity for a successful outcome
  • Collaborating across the wider business to create improved clarity and certainty of success with each opportunity.
  • Prospect Pipeline nurturing, providing regular insights to prospects on how our solutions can add specific advantage to their sector and their business objectives
  • Formally present to prospects how our product suite can deliver value into their business and chair discussions to progress these initiatives between the prospect and our teams
  • Working with Sales Operations to ensure transparency of sales opportunities within the Sales Funnel
  • Representing our payments business at trade shows, industry events, conferences and seminars as required

Your experience will include:
  • 10 years proven sales experience successfully selling complex software- based solutions into the Financial Services Mid-Market and Enterprise market segments, especially in any sub-sector specialism
  • Demonstrable achievement of achieving sales targets in your career with consistently and sustainably
  • Strong understanding of how our software proposition set can create value in a client' s business
  • Proven capabilities in building sustainable new revenue streams from new clients
  • Demonstrable understanding of a recognised sales methodology and its adoption (e.g. SPIN, Miller Heiman, Challenger Selling)
