Now, they're looking for a Service Technician to join their team based in Birstall, Leicestershire.

The Role:

As a Service Technician, you'll maintain, repair, modify and support the delivery of our client's medical products to hospitals throughout Nottingham and the surrounding areas, as well as supporting the delivery of the contracts within the county.

Carrying out tasks in-line with quality processes, you'll clean, test and repair products, ensuring they are ready for patients to use.

You'll support the installation of products at customer sites, communicate with customers in a friendly, professional manner and deliver basic product training when required.

Additionally, you'll complete and record electrical safety testing, keep an inventory of products and spare parts and take good care of your company vehicle and tools.

As part of your role, you'll be required to cover on call duties as part of a rotation within the team.

About You:

To be considered as a Service Technician, you'll need:

- Valid electrical and/or mechanical knowledge, gained through your studies, a commercial environment or similar
- A full, valid driving licence with the ability and confidence to drive large, long wheel base vehicles
- A strong customer focus
- Good communication skills

Experience within a hospital or caregiving environment would be beneficial, as would an electrical safety testing qualification.
