Offploy is recruiting for a Part Time Permanent Counselling Lecturer that can thrive on teaching students and sparking their interest in learning and encouraging them to succeed. We are inviting Counselling Lecturers that have an empathetic, non-judgemental and creative approach to education. You will be delivering on a BACP Accredited Therapeutic Counselling course to Level 2-5 to learners in an engaging, learner led environment.

Offploy have formed a partnership with our client whom provide one of the largest post 16 learning provisions in the UK. They have been working successfully with students of all abilities for many years. They have delivered across a number of Campuses across Manchester enabling their learners to improve their personal skills and self-belief, whilst developing the skills needed to help them settle into a positive career upon completion of education.

Each year the College works with approximately 5,000 learners from the age of 14 upwards, on a range of learning programmes, to support the progression of self-development and on to a coherent career pathway leading to higher level learning and/or employment. In 2015/16, they also worked with approximately 31,000 offender learners across 28 prisons. Their overall success rates were 90% and their overall success rates for Maths and English were 80%. To date, they have placed 139 of their offender learners into sustainable employment.

We are recruiting for a Part Time Permanent Counselling Lecturer to work at the Fielden Campus on a part time basis teaching one day group and one evening group.

As a successful candidate, you will have:
- a relevant teaching and assessing qualification
- teaching/training in this subject area and relevant up-to-date knowledge and have taught Counselling up to and including Level 5
- a proven track record of managing and supporting diverse groups of learners through nationally accredited programmes.
- experience of identifying, developing and sharing innovative and creative teaching resources.
- experience of working with students who may have little experience of education and training (desirable)
- a good level of IT literacy and willing to develop further.

- A clean Enhanced DBS as you will be working within an educational environment.

- Have BACP Accreditation
