This is an exciting opportunity to build the foundations for a new PR department, in our growing agency.

PR Executive Job Description

This is a hands-on role that will see you building media contact lists and managing journalist relationships from the start.

Use your analytical skills to research online publications across an array of sectors and then draw upon your creative flair to seed content campaign ideas with journalists. Working closely with our Creative Content and Editorial Manager, you will develop creative content campaigns and pitch ideas to existing clients with a view to boost revenue.

Our clients' expectations are high, so as an PR Executive you must be able to work to tight deadlines and be ready for a challenge.

Key PR ExecutiveResponsibilities

  • Plan, implement and manage PR strategies
  • Conduct internet research to identify new content trends
  • Lead cross-departmental brainstorms
  • Outreach and pitch creative content ideas to journalists and established editorial teams
  • Develop creative content angles for existing clients
  • Develop extensive, relevant media contact lists
  • Successfully manage media relationships
  • Keep track of partnerships and evaluate results
  • Manage campaign budgets and resource
  • Measure and produce reports on PR KPI's

PR ExecutiveSkills and Qualifications

  • You are a proactive individual who flourishes in a fast-pasted environment
  • You have completed some form of higher education
  • Qualifications in marketing, business or English literature would be beneficial
  • You are extremely organised and your admin skills are impeccable
  • You have strong relationship-building and decision-making skills
  • You are able to demonstrate solid negotiation and communication skills
  • You have a good understanding of SEO, Google and other search engines
  • You are comfortable working on a Windows PC
  • You have experience producing campaign reports and measuring KPI's
  • You have at least 2 year's work-experience in the PR industry
