Software Sales Executive - DevOps for Banking Software - £60k to £75k basic with double OTE, flexible working options and worldwide travel - Location can be flexible across Europe, but ideally based in London with flexible home working options

Our client is seeking a Software Sales Executive with a passion for new business sales and a desire to move into a senior management role over the next two years. This company leads the field in DevOps and the automation of the go-live processes associated with banking software platforms. The business case for our client's solution is simple, with their tools significantly reducing the time, effort, cost and risk of deploying software updates for banks all over the world.

The company is in a scale-up mode with big plans for the future and a huge list of potential clients. The right candidate will appreciate the variety that comes with working in this type of company, and all the opportunities that brings including flexible working. They are looking for someone who can launch their sales to the next level and move into a senior sales management role within 24 months. If you have experience of selling automated testing or release solutions you will especially valuable to our client.

You'll need to be able to demonstrate a focused sales hunter mentality and recent experience of reaching and exceeding new business sales targets. The role will include a partner development aspect, working with the banking software sales and account teams to sell alongside them. Our client is seeking someone who can bring a rapid impact to their sales pipeline in a hands-on role. Day to day you will be responsible for:

  • Owning and managing the entire sales process from lead generation to contract signature
  • Involving subject matter experts where necessary
  • Taking responsibility for delivering high quality client presentations and proposals
  • Handling all commercial and contract negotiations
  • Assisting with marketing related activities
  • Attending industry events and conferences to generate new business leads

Our client would like to meet with high energy candidates, who will appreciate the opportunity to make significant uncapped commission earnings. Do you have:

  • A current track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth
  • Experience selling into the Financial Services sector
  • Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices
  • Good lead generation skills
  • An understanding of DevOps, or automated testing and release solutions would be preferable
  • Strong commercial skills
  • Excellent organisational and self-management skills
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good English Language skills
