Finance Administrator

Fixed term for 6 months

Role Summary:

The purpose of this role is to handle the customer onboarding process within finance. Working together with the team of Credit Controllers, support from the Credit Control Team Leader, you will have full end to end account ownership from first order to first payment. Building excellent relationships with both your internal and external customers is paramount in the success of this role.

What You'll Do:
  • Account Creation
  • Check relevant documents
  • Create account in D365
  • Email customers/sales rep's
  • Add New Customer to Online Tracker
  • Update shared direct sales team spreadsheet
  • File account forms

Account ownership from first order to first payment
  • Includes proactive chase sending copy invoices and statements
  • Dealing with any queries
  • Taking card payments over the phone
  • Posting up daily banking if received by BACS
  • Releasing SO's

Account Level Amendments
  • Delivery address changes
  • Pricing updates
  • VAT amendments including contacting the customer for update in information

General Office Duties
  • Filing
  • Answering incoming calls
  • Keep up to date with emails
  • Retrieving Credit reports from monitoring emails daily
  • Helping with loading EDI customer invoices onto Portals
  • Recoding New customers after first payment received to credit controller
