.Net Developer / Software Developer (ASP.NET / C#)

Home Working

We need a hands-on .NET Developer / Software Developer (ASP.NET / C# / Full Stack) to join a rapidly expanding friendly software house based in Central London. This role is home based but developers are required to visit Central London once per month.

With major clients that include Veritas, Computacenter and Cognizant, this small software house are pioneers of user-centric service catalog, self-service portal and request automation solutions, leveraged most recently to deliver innovative “Backup as a Service” capabilities. They employ a highly experienced team who are at their best working with the latest technology on fast moving projects, with clients based in the UK and across the world.

Joining the 10-strong team as a .NET Developer/ Software Developer (ASP.NET / C#), you will form part of their highly talented development team working on complex Agile projects, using Scrum and Kanban principles. Expect a test-driven environment, where developers usually pair program, and are involved with features, starting with the creation of the story through to delivering all of the necessary components. Using modern remote collaboration tools, you will work seamlessly with another developer, or debate the latest challenges as a group.

To qualify. You should be an experienced and knowledgeable Full Stack Developer / Software Developer / Web Developer (ASP.NET / C#) / Software Engineer, who can demonstrate:

  • High motivation to deliver quality .NET solutions, based on solid coding standards;
  • Strong experience of ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript and SQL;
  • A willingness to challenge the status quo, with both customers and internal teams;
  • A keen interest in design, UX and Unit Testing;
  • Keen to explore and learn new technologies and methodologies, with an attitude of continuous improvement;
  • Happy working in an Agile, pair programming environment.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team who develop some very forward-thinking software, they have a great attitude towards their work and will get stuck in as a team, with no fuss. Their ethos is to work hard, but a good work-life balance is essential to how they became a successful company today.
