Location: Office based role, some travel required

Gov Facilities Services Ltd (GFSL) are looking for a Head of Stakeholder Communications to drive the further success of the organisation. You will be the strategic lead for Communications across the organisation, with the role developing to deliver GFSL's communications strategy, supporting the organisations business plan and key priorities.
We are a newly formed government body that's made up of a range of employee groups who've come together to deliver lots of exciting change and growth and this role is crucial to the further growth of GFSL. GFSL is a Ministry of Justice owned company who supply facilities management services to 52 prisons over the South of the UK. We are looking for an innovative and strategic communicator who is able to lead on customer satisfaction and action planning. You will be a confident leader who is able to train staff effectively within various communications software and applications and also identify, develop and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including clients and customers.
Within this role you will manage incoming parliamentary questions, Freedom of Information Requests and where appropriate 3rd party claims and subject access requests; it is essential therefore that you have strong knowledge of public sector and/or central government communications.
As a successful candidate you'll be able to demonstrate that you can own and manage the GFSL brand, developing robust client relationships in supporting the future growth of the business. GFSL are looking for someone who has a proven track record in Project Management with the critical ability to scope out a variety of projects with the ability to pre-empt and problem solve.
