Role Summary

Working within our newly created group marketing function, you will be responsible for working with marketing contacts across all regions helping to build a global marketing community. Supporting both our in-country teams and new group function you will maximise vendor engagement both locally and regionally delivering growth by sharing best practice between the regions. You will also support global PR, Social and internal Comms. In this exciting role you will be making a significant contribution to the ongoing growth and business goals of Exertis.

Key responsibilities
  • Build a cross organisation marketing community to ensure continual collaboration, best practice sharing and professional development between local marketing teams
  • Support the overall Exertis brand message at a group level, executing where relevant (eg group web, PR and social media).
  • Show leadership in developing creative and innovative marketing plans that encompass a broad range of programmatic and bespoke marketing activities resulting demonstrable ROI
  • Manage group Internal Communications, PR and Social Media plans, balancing group execution vs supporting local plans and local execution.
  • Show leadership in looking for incremental opportunities to increase the range of marketing activities and deepening relationships with the vendors.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders both across the business and within the business eg county leads and business area leads
  • Leverage the shared service model from Corp and Design teams to continue support for UK and develop the service model in other countries.
  • Demonstrating strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the Group Business Conduct Guidelines.

Key Skills and Experience
  • A demonstrable track record within the IT/mobile/ enterprise distribution industry is essential
  • Prior experience working in a regional role advantageous
  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Marketing or related studies) or equivalent
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills
  • Great organisation with ability to balance tactical work with strategic thinking
  • Self starter and driven to deliver results directly and through influence of others
  • Collaborative and strong team player
  • Creativity in both the design and implementation of strategy and programs
  • Good networking skills - internally and externally
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities, and sustain a high level of energy & concentration in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Capacity/courage to challenge the status quo
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • A willingness to be flexible in location to allow you to grow with the business
