1st Line Help Desk Engineer - Epsom

£16k + Overtime + bens

My client is a reputed Managed Services Provider with an exciting opportunity for a 1st Line Technical Help Desk Engineer to join its UK headquarters. Working within a team of 15 engineers you will be required to provide clients with:

The role:
  • A friendly and professional service to our customers at all times.
  • Monitor and maintain workstation, Server and DSL monitoring systems.
  • Answer technical calls from customers and log the cases within CRM.
  • 1st line technical support to the customers over the Phone
  • Accurately record and maintain CRM records when dealing with incidents and queries
  • Maintain SLAs on support calls ensuring that customer problems are resolved to a satisfactory conclusion or escalated to the correct team.
  • Pass cases that require 2nd/3rd line support to relevant teams
  • Maintain a professional and helpful telephone manner.

About you:

The successful Technical Support Engineer will have at least 1 years recent experience working in a 1st line IT support capacity and it's likely that you will have an IT related degree/or equivalent. Excellent communication skills are a must. This is the ideal opportunity to join a leading company, somewhere to embark and develop on a long standing and successful career in IT Support.
