Executives and Senior Executives ensure that their goals are achieved in order to contribute to the success of the overall business objectives. Leadership and Managerial skills are required to help team members with self-development and to guide them throughout general tasks and projects.

The Finance Manager is responsible for the timely production of financial management and statutory information, including forecasting. You will also take a pro-active stance in identifying and addressing weaknesses in control, processes and participate in commercial activities such as customer/supplier negotiations and evaluation.
  • To supervise a team of Management Accountants to complete the monthly management accounts preparation, within the month end timetable, providing training and guidance when required
  • To complete the Finance Board pack including accurate and meaningful commentary to the Financial Controller and Finance Director within the month end timetable.
  • To review all balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations for each of the Group Companies ensuring accuracy and the timely rectification of reconciling items
  • To review the Data Warehouse reconciliation
  • To review the Mobile Performance packs
  • To ensure that the Group Finance Pack includes all relevant KPI's and these are regularly reviewed
  • To update profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts for the Group on a monthly basis
  • Preparation of annual statutory accounts and tax calculations, within 35 working days of the year end
  • Assisting the Financial Controller with the budgeting and re-forecasting process
  • To hold regular 1:1's with your team and coach, train and mentor your team as and when required
  • Completion of VAT returns for review by the Financial Controller within 20 working days of the quarter end and then submit, once approved by the due date
  • Keep abreast of Accounting Standards and Tax legislation and update processes accordingly.
  • Preparation of quarterly corporation tax calculations, 10 working days before payment deadline
  • Identify key business KPI's for inclusion within the Group Finance Pack.
  • Completion of VAT and Corporation Tax returns.
  • Assist in due diligence as and when required
  • Integrate any acquisitions in line with the agreed integration plan
  • To consistently asses the workload and skills of the team, identifying any issues to be raised with the Financial Controller
  • Assist the Financial Controller in the recruitment and selection of members of the team
  • Ensuring that your role and your teams documents and processes are up to date and in line with the Company's ISO standards
  • Ensure that you follow the Company's HR processes e.g. disciplinary, sickness, holidays
  • Actively build positive relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues as required
  • Working with the Financial Controller to ensure business continuity within your team, should anyone, including yourself, be absent from work
  • Adhere to the Company's Health and Safety Policy
  • Ad-hoc activities as determined by the Finance Director or Financial Controller
  • Management accounts to be completed and reviewed within the month end timetable.
  • Group Finance Pack to be completed by within the month end timetable.
  • Balance sheet recs to be reviewed within the month end timetable.
  • Completion of regular 1:1's
  • Completion of all projects to time, cost and quality measures
  • Submission and payment of Quarterly VAT for all companies within the group, in line with the relevant timescales
  • Calculation of Quarterly Corp Tax in line with relevant timescales
  • Complete statutory accounts and tax supporting schedules in line with the yearend timetable
