Management Accountant - Salary -

* Approximately £45k Basic - Negotiable depending on experience

The Next Step Automotive Recruitment present an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to oversee the accountancy functions within this multi-site Automotive Dealership Group.

Management Accountant - What we are looking for -

Management Accountant - Responsibilities -

In this exciting role, you'll oversee the accounting functions of a group of Automotive businesses, spanning several counties. You'll play an integral role, including...

* Producing management accounts, business plans and annual budgets across several sites

* Continuous monitoring of business performance and KPI's

* Producing timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end reports

* Completion of daily banking reconciliation and weekly cash-flow forecasts

* Daily control of Sales ledger and Purchase ledger

* Overseeing all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems with a view to ensuring compliance with all generally accepted accounting principles and all regulatory requirements

* Management and allocation of work to subordinates within the department

* Preparation of payroll, along with submission to HMRC

* Preparation and submission of VAT returns

Management Accountant - Requirements -

This is an exciting role that requires a stable and relevant career profile, along with a strong leadership aptitude.

* You should qualified to ATA, ACCA , CIMA or equivalent

* At least 2+ years of experience in a similar motor-trade role

* Candidates with relevant non-Automotive experience may be considered

* Excellent communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills
